This January, the Cambridge Arts Theatre transforms into a sparkling wonderland with their dazzling production of <a href="https://www.cambridgeartstheatre.com/whats-on/cinderella-2024">Cinderella</a>. Expect all the glitz and glamour you’d hope for from a panto, with a cast of larger-than-life characters, a sprinkle of magic, and plenty of cheeky laughs for all ages.

Over in Suffolk, the iconic Trotters are back in <a href="https://ipswichtheatres.co.uk/whats-on/only-fools-horses-the-musical/">Only Fools and Horses: The Musical</a>, hitting the Ipswich Cornhill Theatre this January. This stage adaptation of the beloved British sitcom brings all the laughs, the cheeky one-liners, and, of course, the classic &#8220;you plonker!&#8221; moments to life with a big dose of musical magic.



For a change of pace, the world-renowned Varna International Ballet brings the timeless classic<a href="https://ipswichtheatres.co.uk/whats-on/varna-international-ballet-swan-lake/"> Swan Lake</a> to the Ipswich Cornhill Theatre. With stunning choreography, exquisite dancers, and Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, this breathtaking production promises to sweep you off your feet. 



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-comedy">COMEDY</h2>



Get ready for belly laughs as award-winning ventriloquist Nina Conti brings her Whose Face Is It Anyway? show to the Cambridge Corn Exchange on 31 Jan. Known for her quick wit, daring improvisation, and hilarious puppet sidekicks, Nina takes audience participation to the next level — brace yourself, you might become part of the act! With sell-out tours and Edinburgh Fringe success under her belt, this one’s a must-see for comedy fans.

If you want to fill your January with laughs you can also catch the brilliant Lucy Porter who is bringing her razor-sharp wit and sparkling charm to the Cambridge Junction on 17 Jan. In her hilarious new show, No Regrets, Lucy tackles life’s big decisions, embarrassing moments, and everything in between. 



Still thirsty for more? Following her sell-out success at the Edinburgh Fringe, Sophie Duker brings her bold and hilarious new show But Daddy, I Love Her to the Cambridge Junction on 30 Jan.

Dive into the drama and energy of the Baroque era with <a href="https://www.saffronhall.com/whats-on/view/baroquebusters">Baroque Busters</a> at Saffron Hall on 11 Jan. Featuring the Academy of Ancient Music and their world-class musicians, this concert is a thrilling journey through some of the most dynamic and exciting pieces of the Baroque repertoire. 



Calling all ’90s and ’00s pop fans! Boyzlife, the sensational duo featuring Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden, are bringing their unforgettable live show to the Ipswich Cornhill Theatre on 26 Jan. Get ready to sing your heart out to the biggest hits from both iconic boybands, from Flying Without Wings to No Matter What, plus some exciting new tracks.



Singer-songwriter Yazmin Wood brings her heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies to the intimate surroundings of Retreat East on 30 Jan. Known for her warm, soulful voice and folk-inspired sound, Yazmin’s music is the perfect accompaniment to a relaxed evening of good vibes and cosy ambiance.
