<p>This one’s a sell-out every year, so get in quick with the tickets. G4 are back at Peterborough Cathedral on <strong>8 December</strong>, St Edmundsbury Cathedral on <strong>16 December</strong> and the chapel at Royal Hospital School on <strong>21 December.</strong> Jonathan, Lewis, Mike and Duncan recreate the musical experiences of their childhoods. Expect to hear classics such as&nbsp;<em>When A Child is Born</em>,&nbsp;<em>Silent Night</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>All I Want For Christmas</em>, as well as lilting medleys designed to induce goosebumps!</p>

<p>At St Edmundsbury Cathedral you can also enjoy <a href="https://stedscathedral.org/events/snowman/">The Snowman Live in Concert</a> on <strong>22 December</strong> with the traditional screening brought to life by musical maestro Richard Wetherall, a string quartet and narrator. At just 55 minutes, it&#8217;s the perfect festive experience for little ones and adults alike. </p>

<p>If the traditional ballet isn&#8217;t for you how about a musical rendition of The Nutcracker on <strong>10 Dec</strong> instead from Prime Brass that is ideal for families and is a much-loved part of the Cambridge Christmas concert scene. Bright Christmas jumpers and Santa hats are encouraged while you watch Prime Brass along with the combined choirs of Tongue Twisters from Cottenham and Harston &amp; Newton Community Primary School.</p>



<p>Also well worth getting tickets for at West Road Concert Hall &#8211; Swing Into Christmas on <strong>15 Dec</strong>. This is an upbeat festive musical extravaganza with Down for the Count recreating the music of Nat ‘King’ Cole, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and many more in a luscious 30-piece orchestral setting.</p>

<p>Ely Cathedral is magical at Christmas and even more so when it&#8217;s lit by candlelight with the sound go Handel&#8217;s Messiah being played live! That&#8217;s what you can experience on <strong>15 December</strong> with an exquisite selection of arias and choruses from Handel&#8217;s masterpiece being played by the musicians of The Piccadilly Sinfonia. The programme will also include two of Bach&#8217;s finest violin concertos and his Air on the G String. </p>

Her Christmas show has been going for nearly 20 years and for many is as essential to the festive season as mince pies and mulled wine. Set in the incredible St John&#8217;s College Chapel Maggie&#8217;s Cambridge&#8217;s annual carol concert is a thing of joy that also raises money to support people affected by cancer. As you arrive, you will be welcomed by the voices of contemporary choir Stagecoach who will entertain you with a mix of Christmas and contemporary songs as you find your seats. The main performance is by the incredible Serenata Female Voices, plus Christmas readings from Maggie&#8217;s representatives and the options to join in songs. </p>

And of course, there will be carols for everyone to join in with too. Tickets include a glass of wine. </p>

<p>There are school carol concerts and then there is King&#8217;s Ely carol concert! When you&#8217;re sat in the audience of this festive show you&#8217;d never know you were watching school children because King&#8217;s Ely pupils are some of the most talented young singers and musicians you&#8217;re likely to come across. This concert includes a festive feast of music from the King&#8217;s Ely Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Band, King&#8217;s Barbers, Spikes and Brass Ensemble and is sure to be a true delight. </p>

<p>Trot on down to Tattersalls this Christmas for an evening of festive cheer and carol singing from the choirs of St Louis Catholic Academy, Paddocks Primary School &amp; Newmarket Academy. The Newmarket Town Band will also be there filling the ring with festive cheer and Father Christmas will make a special appearance with his flying rein&#8230; ponies! This is Newmarket after all. The event raises funds for Racing Welfare’s Chaplaincy service.</p>
