Founded by the wonderfully passionate Cathy, this is a brand built on a lifetime of baking, a chocolate obsession, and the very relatable desire to have your brownie and eat it too – without the guilt spiral that usually follows.

The backstory is as wholesome as the ingredients. Cathy learned to bake with her Nan, graduated to indulgent chocolate cakes with her Mum, and then adapted her recipes when her Mum was diagnosed as diabetic. When both joined Slimming World, the baking evolved again, and Skinny Slabs was born. After three years baking from her Mum’s kitchen, Cathy and her husband took the plunge, bought a house and converted the garage into a proper bakery. Everything in one place at last – and the results speak for themselves.

Every gooey, indulgent, deeply chocolatey slab comes in at under 150 calories, with low-sugar, low-fat and absolutely zero compromise on flavour. The range covers brownies, blondies, crumblejacks and traybakes, with an extensive gluten-free range, vegan-friendly options, and those properly gooey centres that make you do a double take when you clock the calorie count. Cathy’s followers even get a vote on the monthly menu via Instagram Stories – because this is a community as much as it is a bakery.
