Biscotti di Debora, Cambridgeshire
Discover the magic of Biscotti di Debora, where every treat is handmade with love and tradition, bringing people together.

There are bakeries, and then there is Biscotti di Debora. Founded by the wonderfully talented Debora – trained near Turin and now based in Dry Drayton, just outside Cambridge – this is Italian patisserie made with patience, precision and passion that simply can’t be rushed or replicated. Every biscuit, cake, doughnut and pastry is handmade in small batches, shaped by time-honoured recipes and the deep-rooted belief that food, at its very best, brings people together.
The range is as beautiful to look at as it is to eat. Celebration cakes are at the heart of the business – birthdays, anniversaries, whatever deserves marking – personalised with handwritten chocolate messages or a bespoke image on top. The pasticcini are a particular joy: bite-sized, Turin-style petits fours that arrive in their box looking for all the world like the finest chocolates. And the wedding cakes are something else entirely – finished with creams and mousses rather than heavy fondant, decorated with fresh and edible flowers and seasonal fruit in a style that’s as elegant as it is natural.
For those with grander ambitions, Debora’s spectacular Italian-style giant cakes – built on site, to order – have graced Cambridge May Balls year after year, including Trinity College this year. Corporate clients are equally well catered for, with patisserie, luxury doughnuts and branded cupcakes available for events of all sizes. And every Saturday, the Dry Drayton kitchen opens its doors from 10am to 2pm, or until sold out, for handmade patisserie and those much-coveted luxury doughnuts.
A little piece of Italy, right here in Cambridgeshire. Slow food, local craft, and honest joy – best shared with others. Do yourself a favour and get there early on a Saturday.
