Sunshine, cake, bubbles, gossip, laughter…it could only be the 2021 Muddy Stilettos Suffolk & Cambs Awards winners drinks! We gathered for an evening of celebration in the gorgeous garden of The Gonville hotel in Cambridge and it was a blast.

Running a business requires great effort and is no mean feat (particularly over the last 18 months), so it was an honour to be able to raise a glass with hard-working business owners across Suffolk & Cambs

This year 75,000 businesses were nominated across the country with 855,000 votes cast in total, making these the most popular local business awards in the country and the biggest Muddy Awards to date, including an unprecedented number of votes cast in Suffolk & Cambs (high five).

Thanks to all of you who voted and made this event possible. I love meeting and supporting brilliant local businesses and then telling you about them so you can enjoy them too – here’s a reminder of our local winners.

The Gonville hotel’s garden is one of the most magical spots for drinks in Cambridge, thanks to an open-sided tent strewn with fairy lights and flowers, heaters and blankets to keep you warm after dusk and even a cool converted bike serving table. Thanks team Gonville for looking after us all so well.
