<p><em>Prime Target</em> is the Apple TV series everyone’s buzzing about this month – and for good reason. Set against the gothic beauty of Cambridge University, the slick thriller stars Leo Woodhall (<em>One Day</em> and <em>White Lotus</em>) as Edward Brooks, a brooding mathematician with a thing for prime numbers. Think <em>Da Vinci Code</em> meets <em>Good Will Hunting</em>, but with a whole lot more intrigue and fewer cliché lines. Woodhall’s postgrad genius is fixated on how prime numbers show up in nature, but when his professor turns up dead, the plot takes a dark twist. It’s maths, murder, and plenty of mystery – and trust us, it’s anything but a simple equation.</p>

<p>Edward Brooks may be lost in the world of prime numbers, but his world at Cambridge is anything but abstract. Some of the most striking scenes of <em>Prime Target</em> were filmed in and around the city itself, with the camera capturing the stunning backdrop of The Backs – those lush, tranquil gardens and lawns that sit between the university’s iconic colleges. There&#8217;s also a little cameo from the picturesque Corpus Christi College and the serene river that winds through it all. Shot in summer 23, it’s a perfect blend of academic prestige and natural beauty – the kind of Cambridge we know and love.</p>
