La Vida is the brainchild of popular Felixstowe drag queen Leon Richer who, with the help of his partner Dan, opened the bar’s doors back in September 2022 to reveal wow-factor pink and pop art-inspired new interiors that perfectly set the tone for the experience to come. Forget a bog standard bar or pub for your next night out, because La Vida offers so much more… creative cocktails, amazing entertainment, a wonderful welcome to every visitor and an intimate setting for anyone who wants to give drag a go. So, leave your inhibitions at home, don some sequins and get ready to shimmy on down with fellow dancing queens and party people.

If you love what you see, you can even hire the space for your own event or function. With its open plan layout with a stage, colourful booth seating, Instagram-worthy backdrops, a bar serving cocktails, wine, beer and spirits and luxe loos (that you’ll want to spend more than a couple of minutes in), it’s a venue that’ll definitely wow your guests. And, while La Vida doesn’t serve food, its location on the beachfront means there’s plenty of options to fill your (thigh high) boots right on the doorstep.
