Bury St Biscuits
Something to celebrate or need a gift that’ll wow? Order some unique, eye-catching, and delicious iced treats from this extremely talented Suffolk-based biscuit artist.
When Peta, owner of Bury St Biscuits, makes biscuits they bear very little resemblance to your humble Digestive or Hob Nob. They are less biscuit and more work of art. In fact, they almost look too good to eat. Almost! Take a bite though and you’ll find they taste just as incredible too. We can talk from experience, because the lovely Peta created a bespoke design just for our Muddy Stilettos Awards Party 2023 and our guests were in raptures over them.
Peta is a true biscuit artist and provides a completely bespoke and customisable service, working with customers to create beautiful biscuits that reflect their personalities and work perfectly for their specific event or occasion, whether that’s a wedding, birthday, corporate event, baby shower, hen party, anniversary, you name it… She’s happy to consider all requests (however crazy!) and everything is handmade to order using the very best ingredients. Got specific dietary requirements? No need to miss out because dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan options are also available.
The idea for Bury St Biscuits came to Peta in 2016, while she was maternity leave, when she saw another baker posting instagram videos of her iced biscuits. Fast forward eight years and Peta has taught herself from scratch, honing her biscuit making skills to become one of the best in the biz. While she says she was “rubbish” at the start, we beg to differ, plus brilliant baking and cooking runs in the family, with her late mother running her own catering company and teaching a young Peta all the skills for how to build a successful foodie business.
We love the idea of sending these biscuits as gifts, so when flowers or chocolates don’t feel special enough, you can be sure some Bury St Biscuits will really show someone you care. Peta can individually wrap or box biscuits for gifts or wedding and party favours, and they can be sent through the post as letterbox gifts, while bigger orders can be collected from Pakenham near Bury St Edmunds or delivered locally for a fee.
