Whatever you thought of the plot and much-twittered shenanigans between Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh following the release of <em>Don’t Worry Darling</em>, surely we’re all agreed on the that divine mid-century sunken living room? Couple that with the opening of Nordic design gallery Modernity at Newson’s Yard, London’s new design hub in Pimlico, and we’re all bonkers for Bauhaus. </p>

<p>You can pick up a fabulously retro chair or storage unit here for under £300, which isn’t bad value in mid-century terms. With the best in Danish and Scandi design, this place has supplied collectors, interior designers, film sets and museums for 50 years, so if you see something you like online, you’d better get there quick to check it out. <p>As the name suggest this Suffolk business is all about stylish seats, and more specifically gorgeous vintage, mid-century and retro chairs. Their range includes iconic designs from the like of Ercol, Parker Knoll and G Plan as well as a selection of classic Danish armchairs. You can also snap up some soft furnishings, footstools and hand made bags. While you&#8217;re in the area don&#8217;t forget to pop by the many other amazing antique shops that Long Melford is known for. </p>

<p>Crazy Buttons Vintage has been open since 2014 and specialises in mid-century, industrial, retro and antique items, specifically Danish furniture. You&#8217;ll find items from key designers and manufacturers such as G plan, Nathan, Ercol, Richard Hornby and Chesterfield. <p>Owners Joe (a trained cabinet maker) and Victoria (a re-upholsterer) started ScandiVintro in 2020 combining their unique skills to help bring pieces of tired and well loved mid-century furniture back to their former glory. You can fill every room with vintage delights from this Suffolk store as they sell everything from sideboards and dining tables to lamps and mirrors.  </p>
