<p>I don’t often get time for a manicure – either at home or in a salon – but when I do, it’s always so pleasing to see a glossy strip of colour adorning the end of my fingers. I instantly feel more put together, more like a woman in control (rather than a woman on the verge!) Sometimes it’s the small things that give you the biggest lift, isn’t it?</p>
<p>At this time of year, summer pale pinks and zingy corals start to feel a bit off. As we re-embrace our heavier, darker winter wardrobes, it makes switch up the colour of our nails too.  Here are the five freshest shades that get an immaculately manicured thumbs-up from me.</p>
