Ipswich is about to get a little bit hipper: Suffolk’s coolest coffee shop is coming to town!
Following on from the success of its first coffee shop in Woodbridge more than a decade ago, and another branch in Melton, Honey+Harvey is now set to open a new, totally unique outlet in Ipswich at the beginning of March.
Much-loved for its speciality coffees, delicious breakfasts and lunches made from locally sourced produce, H+H is particularly renowned for its amazing brunches; think eggs hollandaise with crispy back bacon from Suffolk farms and Honey’s breakfast with Pinney’s cold smoked salmon. Vegan? No problem as there are plenty of plant-based dishes to delight, including our favourite – a colourful Buddha bowl salad.
The new shop will take over the space formally occupied by Mambos Bar & Grill in Queen Street and we predict this is going to become the place for your caffeine fix, because H+H baristas are some of the best in the biz, whipping up brews using hand-selected beans roasted in Winchester.
Could it get any better? Yes it could, at least for dog-lovers, because this joint is pooch-friendly, so rest assured you can drop in with Fido anytime you’re in town.
Can’t make it to Ipswich anytime soon? H+H has an online shop where you can pick up all kinds of goodies and a takeaway afternoon tea too.
