Property flirt!

If you’re looking to move to the country you can’t do much better than Valley Farm, a stunning farmhouse with a lotta land and FOUR holiday cottages thrown in - but can you guess how much all this costs?

We love a snoop around someone’s house, particularly when it’s as stunning as this timber-framed, five-bedroom farmhouse in Snape near Aldeburgh. The fancy pile is family-friendly but also business-friendly as there are holiday cottages too, meaning you can move and make money, hurrah! The big question though is how much is it on the market for….?

Before you make a guess, let us show you around! The main house is sooo cosy and rustic, with plenty of period features like beams and inglenook fireplaces. Muddy particularly likes the open-plan kitchen and family room, with Aga and bespoke wood cupboards. On the same floor there’s also a spacious sitting room, reception room and study/playroom/hide from the kids space.

Up on the first floor, one of the bedrooms is ensuite and there’s also a family bathroom with a lovely free-standing bath to wallow in.

Across the driveway are the farmhouse’s four holiday cottages – Hayloft, Granary, Harvest and Stables. Part of a weather boarded converted barn, the self-contained cottages have modern kitchens, slick bathrooms, exposed timbers and a private terrace for al fresco dining. Can you imagine the parties you could have here with friends and family?

Each cottages Airbnbs for around £80 to £250 per night, depending on the season and length of stay.

Valley Farm and the holiday cottages sit in around 2.35 acres of land, including a beautiful pond, double garage, kitchen garden and potting shed, so this basically fulfils any Lady of the Manor fantasies you’ve been cultivating.

It’s also on the edge of Snape village, home of the Maltings concert hall where world-wide acts come to play, plus the seaside town of Aldeburgh’s just down the road, making this is a fantastic place for a family home and a holiday let business.

So, how much do you think all of this land and house is worth? Take a guess and then click here to see how close you are!
